NORTH RUN WINE REVIEWS
North Run Shiraz – 93+ Points
Clove spice, dark and red berry fruits, sniff of fennel/liquorice, white pepper and some mint suggestions in the bouquet. Sinewy, chewy palate with brambly, black currant fruit flavours jostling around. Has a succulence, tension and firmness that appeals, then again, it slides across the palate on sheets of fine tannin too.
Harvest by North Run – 92 Points
Sleek shiraz of svelteness and spice. Opens with pepper-dusted red cherry/cranberry scents, a whiff of brambles, briar and Italianate herbs. Sticks to the gums with dusty tannins, but doesn’t forget a core of juicy, red berried fruitiness and more of the pepper. Flavours remain long and satisfying. It’s easy to drink yet shows some more detail. Very much like this.
